Q: What is U-Own Storage?
A. The U-Own storage facility is a brand new property, purpose built to cover the storage needs of the immediate surrounds in Port Melbourne, Docklands and the Melbourne CBD.
Q: What do I get if I buy a U-Own storage unit?
A. You are purchasing a freehold, strata titled storage unit within a purpose built storage facility.
Q: Can I use the unit for my own purposes?
A. You have control and ownership of the unit. Therefore you can use the unit yourself or you can rent the unit out to others, through the onsite management team.
Q: Can you help with finance?
A. Yes. We have finance brokers who have been briefed on the project and can assist you with your financial needs.
Q: Can I buy just one unit or do I have to buy more?
A. There are no limits on the number of units available to purchase. Ask one of our sales people to compare the purchase of a residential flat or unit for around $300k to the equivalent value of u-own units. You will be surprised with the difference in returns as well as the peace of mind and security of your investment.
Q: Is there any stamp duty to pay and are there tax benefits in buying a U-Own unit?
A. There is stamp duty however there are great savings to be had when purchasing the units off the plan. Also we would advise you to speak to your financial advisor regarding negatively gearing the property and gaining the greatest tax benefits available according to your personal tax situation. |
